Next gen cup branding

Visual identity, website and brand assets for an open challenge to create the first fully recyclable and/or compostable paper cup.

The logo is dynamic and has many iterations to reflect the innovative spirit of the challenge. The logo is made up of two circles connected by two lines in various perspectives to allude to circularity and to connect it back to Closed Loop Partners branding.

The NextGen Cup Consortium is managed by Closed Loop Partners with support from OPEN IDEO. Founding partners are McDonald’s and Starbucks, with CocaCola, Yum Brands, Nestle and Wendy’s signing on after.
